正直に言えば、長岡花火や大曲の花火、土浦全国花火競技大会ほどの知名度はまだないものの、こんな素敵な花火大会かと思い知らされました。
現地で4K撮影しながら観て、はっきり断言できます。

成田花火大会 in 印旛沼とは？

前日は土浦全国花火競技大会｜連日撮影という無謀スケジュール

今回の成田花火大会2025は、前日に土浦全国花火競技大会を撮影した直後の「連日撮影」でした。
土浦では大学時代の友人とお酒を飲みつつ花火を楽しみ、その合間に撮影もこなすという、最高に贅沢な時間を過ごしていました。
しかし、その裏側では、花火終了後にスーツケース＋フル装備の撮影機材を抱えての大移動が待っていました。

ルートはこんな感じです。

• 土浦駅 → 柏駅（常磐線）
• 柏駅 → 新鎌ヶ谷駅（TOBU URBAN PARK Line）
• 新鎌ヶ谷駅 → 印旛日本医大駅（北総線）

土浦花火大会後の駅は、とんでもない混雑。
スーツケースを持っているだけでも白い目で見られるのに、三脚や撮影機材まで持っているので、完全に「夜逃げスタイル」です。

東京には10年近く住んでいましたが、柏以外のエリアはほとんど未知の世界。
そんなルートを乗り継ぎながら、ようやく印旛日本医大駅に着いたのは、すでに深夜0時30分ごろでした。
なんでこんなところに？、、、、、、
この11月1日（土）は、都内全域がホテルの価格爆上がりで、とても私の予算で泊まれるホテルがなく、、、、
成田空港周辺とこの東横インだけが1万円前後で泊まれたということで、強行日程になったのです。

深夜0時半の印旛日本医大とコンビニ難民

タクシーを使わず、電車だけでここまで機材を運べたのは、個人的には小さな快挙です。
ただ、さすがにお腹が空いてきたので、Google マップで周辺を検索してみると――

「あれ？近くに何もない……」

営業しているコンビニが見当たらない。
徒歩5分ほどの場所に、ようやくセブンイレブンを発見。

ちょうど熊騒動でニュースが賑わっていた時期でもあり、最大限警戒しながら深夜のNight Walkへ。
こういう時、本当に日本のコンビニ文化は偉大だと感じます。

カップラーメンと、冷たいお惣菜の南蛮唐揚げを購入し、ホテルへ戻ってシャワー。
その後、土浦全国花火競技大会の映像をチェックしながら夜食タイムです。

大曲の花火のように「大会提供花火」が一番の見どころだったのですが、なにせ十何年ぶりの土浦。
どこから打ち上がるのか分からず、カメラワークが追いつかないｗ

ご愛嬌、ご愛嬌。

それでも、土浦の花火は本当に素晴らしかった。
「また来年も行きたい」と素直に思える花火大会でした。

疲れ果てて、いつの間にか夢の中。
それにしても、東横インのベッドは本当にフローリングのように硬いです。

成田花火大会のアクセス実用まとめ（2025年実体験）

ここからは、これから成田花火大会に行ってみたい方のために、実際に歩いて分かったアクセス事情をまとめておきます。

• 最寄駅：成田湯川駅
• 印旛日本医大駅 → 成田湯川駅：1駅・電車の本数はそこまで多くない（30分待ちも）
• 成田湯川駅 → シャトルバス乗り場（成田市保険福祉館）：駅前からマイクロバスに乗車（約10分）※有料片道300円
• シャトルバス降車場所（成田市保険福祉館） → 会場：徒歩約30分
• 機材持ちの場合：台車必須。場合によってはタクシーも検討したい距離感

特に、シャトルバス降車後の徒歩30分は想像以上に体力を削られます。
カメラ機材＋三脚フル装備だと、会場付近は丘のようになっておりUp, Downがありちょっとした登山です。

成田花火大会は、アクセス自体が少し大変な分、会場に着いたときの達成感と「旅してきた感」が強いのも特徴だと感じました。
お子様連れや、荷物が多い方は、カートを持って行くと比較的楽かと思いました。

成田ニュータウンと会場までの道のり

シャトルバスを降りてからは、成田ニュータウンの住宅街をひたすら歩きます。

このエリアは、大型ショッピングモール（おそらくイオン系）やスーパー、喫茶店などがそろった、住みやすそうな街並み。
都内に出るには少し距離がありますが、成田空港が近いので海外旅行勢にはかなり便利な立地だと思います。

そんな住宅街を抜けていくと、ようやく成田花火大会のゲートのような場所が見えてきます。
ゲートでチケットを提示すると、リストバンドのような引き換えパスを渡され、さらに5分ほど歩いて、ついに会場に到着です。

カメラマン席から見る NARITA 花火大会

今回もカメラマン席からの参戦でした。

成田花火大会では、A会場とB会場があり、私は花火に近いA会場側に配置されました。
A会場は、フィナーレ花火のNARITA黄金伝説が降り注いでくるかのような感じで観れます。
距離が近く、迫力満点。初めての場合は、やっぱりA会場がいいのかな？
カメラマン的にはあまりに距離が近く、横に広いワイドなので、画角に収まらず。
B会場は、少し引いた視点で見れるので、全体像を見たい人にお勧め？
私は来年はB会場かなと思いました。

会場に着いたのは午後3時30分ごろ。
ホテルを出たのが午後12時過ぎだったので、距離の割には移動に3時間30分もかかった計算になります。

すでに、プロカメラマンやケーブルテレビ関係者、配信者らしき方々が、自慢の機材をずらりと並べています。
正直、怖い。近寄りがたい。
というのが、一般人の第一印象ですよね。

カメラのセッティングを始めると、横幅は思ったより狭く、足元は野球場のグラウンド。
一部の土が少し湿っていて、「前日までの天候も大事だな」とあらためて感じました。

それでも、カメラマン席にはキャンプ用の折りたたみ椅子が用意されており、ちょっとしたVIP気分で花火を楽しめる環境でした。

会場全体の雰囲気はとてもアットホームで、家族連れが多い印象。
このあたりはファミリー層が多いのか、小さな子どもを連れて来ている人も目立ち、見ていてなんとも羨ましい光景でした。

うーーーーー、羨ましい。
お祭り男も、いつか、家族で〜〜〜。

そんな叶わぬ妄想を抱きながら、空は徐々に夕焼けに染まり始めます。

なんて綺麗な空だ。
オレンジから群青に変わっていくグラデーションを見ていると、思わずうるっときます。
最近、年のせいか、綺麗なものを見るとすぐ泣きそうになります。
がんばっている人を見たときもそう。
いい歳したおじさんがアイドルを推す気持ちが、少し分かってきました。

ドローンショーと「Sandman」現代アート花火

この日の成田花火大会には、ドローンショーも組み込まれていました。
音楽に合わせて夜空に絵や文字が浮かび、その後ろで花火が打ち上がる構成は、観ていて純粋にワクワクします。

花火の合間には解説やナレーションも入り、全体として非常に見応えのある進行。
秋田県の「男鹿日本海花火」に通じる、心温まるアットホームさが印象的でした。

プログラムの中でも特に印象に残ったのが、「2025ドイツ国際花火競技会 優勝作品」として紹介された演目「Sandman」。

これはぜひ、ライブ配信のアーカイブで見てほしい一本です。
「現代アート」と呼びたくなるような構成と色使いで、途中から完全に見入ってしまいました。

今年トップクラスの感動「NARITA 黄金伝説」

そして、その時は訪れました。

「NARITA 黄金伝説」。

結論から言うと、

「甘く見ててごめんなさい。本当に最高でした。感謝です。」

というのが、終わった直後の正直な気持ちです。

花火との距離は近く、横幅もかなりワイド。
視界の端から端まで光で埋め尽くされ、花火の中に自分が立っているような錯覚を覚えました。

一発ごとの迫力というよりは、包み込まれるような光のレイヤーが何層にも重なっていく感覚。
会場全体が一瞬静まり返り、そのあと大きな拍手が起こる――
そんな空気の変化まで含めて、「黄金伝説」という名前がぴったりの作品でした。

バックで流れていた曲は、Leona Lewis の 「A Moment Like This」。
もう16年も前の曲ですが、私が海外に住んでいた頃によく耳にしていた曲で、一気に当時の記憶がフラッシュバックしました。

気づけば、ファインダー越しではなく、肉眼で花火を追いかけている自分がいました。
撮影を忘れて立ち尽くしているお祭り男が、そこにはいました。

本当に、花火はいい。
心が洗われる。最高です。

幻のデータ破損と来年への宿題

花火が終われば、いつものように片付けです。

機材をまとめて、再び長い夜道を一人で帰る。
周りは家族連れやカップルばらけ。
「寂しすぎるだろ！」と心の中でツッコミを入れながら、ホテルへ戻ります。

帰り道もなかなかの混雑で、会場をかなり後の方に出たのに、中心部の交差点付近はまだ車でぎっしり。
夜遅い時間まで渋滞が続いていました。

こういう瞬間は、正直、ひとりだとめちゃくちゃ心に刺さります。

そして、ここで予想外の出来事が起こりました。

ホテルに戻り、データの確認をしていると、見たことのない形式のファイルがひとつ。
嫌な予感がしてChatGPTに相談してみると、結論はシンプルでした。

「ファイルが壊れています」

おそらく、ライブ配信中にスマホ接続でフォーカスをいじったタイミングの影響だと思われます。

こうして、「NARITA 黄金伝説」のフルクオリティ映像と、個別動画としてのYouTubeアップロードは、来年への宿題となりました。

それでも、あの瞬間を現地で体験できたこと。
そしてライブ配信としてはきちんと残せたこと。

それだけで十分だと、自分に言い聞かせています。
そうでも思わないと、メンタルが崩壊しますからね。

  夜遅い時間帯は電車の本数も少なくなるので、終電や移動ルートの確認は事前にしておくと安心です。

But after actually being there on site and filming it, I can say this clearly: this fireworks festival has the potential to grow into something truly special. “NARITA Fireworks Festival in Inbanuma” may not yet have the same name recognition as the Nagaoka Fireworks, Omagari Fireworks, or the Tsuchiura All Japan Fireworks Competition. However, after filming it in person in 2025, I can say this without hesitation. — This fireworks festival is absolutely going to blow up in the future.

Back-to-Back Shooting After the Tsuchiura All Japan Fireworks Competition

The day before Narita, I had just finished filming the Tsuchiura All Japan Fireworks Competition. Filming “NARITA Fireworks Festival in Inbanuma” the very next day meant this was my first-ever back-to-back fireworks shoot — and my very first time at this festival. To be honest, I’m neither a hardcore fireworks maniac nor a full-on camera geek. My decision was pretty simple: “If I’m already traveling to Kanto, I want to see another big fireworks festival while I’m there.” And that’s how I ended up buying a ticket for Narita. To be completely real with you — I started from the level of: “Wait… where even is Inbanuma?”

Post-Tsuchiura “Midnight Escape” Level Train Hopping

The night before, I had been enjoying fireworks with a university friend, drinking and watching together while also filming. It was an incredibly happy time. Behind that, though, after the fireworks ended, I had to move with a full suitcase and all my filming gear on my back: Tsuchiura → Kashiwa → Shin-Kamagaya → Inba-Nihon-Idai Station It was a pretty intense train journey. After the Tsuchiura All Japan Fireworks Competition, Tsuchiura Station is unbelievably crowded. Just having a suitcase gets you some judgmental looks — add a tripod and a full camera rig on top of that and you’re suddenly in “midnight runaway” mode. From Tsuchiura to Kashiwa I took the Joban Line, then from Kashiwa I transferred to the TOBU URBAN PARK Line — a line I honestly had never heard of before — and rode it to Shin-Kamagaya. From there, I switched to the Hokuso Line, and only after all that did I finally arrive at Inba-Nihon-Idai Station. Even though I had lived in the Tokyo area for close to ten years, I had almost never been to these areas aside from Kashiwa. By the time I reached Inba-Nihon-Idai Station, it was already around 12:30 a.m. Even so, managing to carry my suitcase and all my gear this far using only trains, without relying on a taxi, felt like a small personal victory.

Late-Night Convenience Store Struggles and the Greatness of 7-Eleven

By then, I was getting pretty hungry, so I pulled out Google Maps to look for something to eat. “Wait… there’s nothing around here.” Not even a convenience store. More precisely, there were almost no convenience stores that were still open. After looking around, I finally found one 7-Eleven about a five-minute walk away. It was around the time when news reports were full of bear sightings, so I headed out into the night with maximum caution for a little “night walk” to the convenience store. 7-Eleven really is amazing. No matter where you go in Japan, they pretty much have the same familiar selection. Honestly, even in Southeast Asia, I’ve lost count of how many times Japanese convenience stores have saved me. I grabbed a cup ramen and some chilled nanban fried chicken, then headed back to the hotel. After a shower, I started checking the footage from Tsuchiura while eating my late-night meal. Just like at Omagari, the “tournament-sponsored fireworks” were the highlight — but since it was my first time back at Tsuchiura in over a decade, I didn’t know exactly where they’d be launched from, and my camera work just couldn’t keep up, lol. It is what it is. Even so, the fireworks at Tsuchiura were truly incredible. It was the kind of show that made me think, very simply, “I want to come back again next year.” ▶ I’ve uploaded the Tsuchiura footage on YouTube as well. Morning of NARITA Fireworks Festival in Inbanuma

At last, it was the day of “NARITA Fireworks Festival in Inbanuma.” I headed out with almost the same setup as the day before. “Toyoko INN Inba-Nihon-Idai Ekimae” is located very close to the station, so access itself isn’t bad at all. From Inba-Nihon-Idai Station, it’s just one stop to the nearest station for the fireworks — literally the next station over. I arrived at the station, passed through the ticket gate, and glanced up at the electronic timetable. The moment I saw it, my brain stopped. The next train… was in about 30 minutes. For a second, everything in my head froze. “Wait, wait, wait… is this Akita?” Still, there was nothing to do except wait, so I decided to have lunch first. There was a FamilyMart near the ticket gate, so I exited the station and headed there. Convenience store dinner, convenience store lunch — back-to-back conbini meals. The cart carrying my camera gear made the perfect makeshift table. I finished off a katsu curry and then took a short coffee break. There were almost no people around. It felt calm. Quiet. Nice.

From Narita Yukawa Station to the Fireworks Venue — Shuttle Buses and a Long Walk

I hopped on the next train and headed to the neighboring station. The distance between stations was surprisingly long. The station I got off at was Narita Yukawa Station — another station I was visiting for the first time in my life. There was almost nothing in front of the station. It made me think, “So even in Chiba, there are places that feel this remote,” and somehow that was oddly comforting. Because the fireworks venue is too far to walk from the station, shuttle buses run from the station area to near the site. Of course, I was loaded with a full set of camera gear. I had mentally prepared myself: “If they don’t let me bring this onto the bus, I’ll just have to take a taxi.” But when I asked one of the staff near a large shuttle bus parked at the station, they kindly opened up the luggage compartment for me. I was seriously grateful. Once on the bus, it took less than ten minutes to get close to the venue. However, from the bus drop-off point to the actual fireworks site, there was still about a 30-minute walk. “Couldn’t they have driven just a little closer to the venue? lol” With that thought in mind, I pulled my gear along and started walking.

Through the Narita New Town Suburbs to the Venue Gate

The area around Narita is a fairly large residential zone — it looked like a very livable town. This is the so-called Narita New Town area, with a big shopping mall (likely an Aeon), supermarkets, cafés, and pretty much everything you’d need for daily life. It might be a bit of a distance from central Tokyo, but Narita Airport is close by, so you can hop on a plane overseas anytime. In that sense, it might actually be a great place to live. After walking through rows of houses for quite a while, I finally reached what looked like the entrance gate to the fireworks festival. I showed my ticket, received an exchange pass of sorts, and then walked for another five minutes. At last, I had arrived at the fireworks venue.

Watching NARITA Fireworks Festival from the Photographer’s Area — Atmosphere in Area A

Once again, I joined from the photographer’s area. The venue is split into Area A and Area B, and I was assigned to shoot from Area A, which is closer to the fireworks. By the time I arrived, professional photographers, cable TV crews, and what looked like other streamers had already lined up their gear in neat rows. Honestly, my first feeling was: “This is kind of intimidating. I feel out of place.” I arrived at the venue around 3:30 p.m. Since I left my hotel a little after noon, it ended up taking about 3 hours and 30 minutes to get there, even though the actual distance wasn’t that far. I quickly started setting up my cameras. The width of the photographer’s area was narrower than I expected, and the site itself was a baseball field. The ground was dirt, and in some places it was slightly damp, probably from earlier rain. Thankfully, there were folding camping-style chairs set up in the photographer’s zone, so it felt like a slightly luxurious way to enjoy the fireworks. The overall atmosphere was very warm and family-oriented. There were many families with kids, and it felt like a popular local spot for people living nearby. Watching them together, I couldn’t help thinking it was a really enviable sight. Uuugh… I was jealous. One day, maybe the “festival guy” will also come here with a family of his own… With those unreachable little dreams in the back of my mind, the sky slowly began to turn orange with the sunset. What a beautiful sky. The gradient of the sunset almost brought tears to my eyes. Maybe it’s age, but these days, beautiful scenes make me emotional so quickly. The same thing happens when I see people working really hard. I’m starting to understand the feeling of a slightly older, slightly awkward guy passionately supporting an idol group.

Drone Show × Fireworks — A Warmth That Reminded Me of Oga Japan Sea Fireworks

At moments like this, being alone feels brutally lonely. — But there was one more unforgettable thing waiting for me that night. After safely returning to the hotel, I sat down to check the data. Among the files, there was one with a format I had never seen before. I had a bad feeling and asked ChatGPT for help. The conclusion: the file was corrupted. Most likely, it had something to do with adjusting focus via smartphone connection during the livestream. And just like that, the full-quality recording of “NARITA Golden Legend” — and the chance to upload it to YouTube as a standalone video — became homework for next year. Even so, being able to stand there in that exact moment, in that exact place — and at least leaving it behind properly as a livestream archive — felt more than enough.
