1. 運営者について

当サイト「Festival Freak Japan」は、お祭り男 / Festival Freak が運営している、
日本各地の祭り・花火・伝統行事をテーマにした映像・写真メディアです。

日本全国の祭りや花火大会をめぐりながら、現地の熱気や空気感をできるだけそのまま
映像と音で届けることを目指して活動しています。
YouTube チャンネルでは、祭り本番の様子や花火の映像を中心に、
このウェブサイトでは「撮影の裏側」や現地でのエピソード、制作のこだわりなど、
動画だけでは伝えきれないストーリーを発信しています。

このYouTubeチャンネルは、次のような目的で運営しています。

  • 日本各地の祭りや花火の魅力を、国内外の方に知ってもらうこと

1. About the Creator

Festival Freak Japan is a video and photo media project run by
“Omatsuri Otoko / Festival Freak”, focusing on festivals, fireworks,
and traditional events all across Japan.

Traveling around the country to visit various festivals and fireworks displays, I aim to capture and share
the on-site atmosphere as it truly feels — the heat, the excitement, and the sounds of the crowd —
through video and audio as faithfully as possible.
On my YouTube channel, I mainly feature the main festival performances and fireworks shows, while on this website
I share behind-the-scenes stories from the shoots, episodes from each trip, and details about my creative process —
stories that are hard to fully convey through video alone.

2. About This Site

This YouTube channel — together with this website — is run with the following goals:

  • To share the charm of Japanese festivals and fireworks with people both in Japan and around the world
  • To let viewers experience the energy and atmosphere on-site through large-screen, high-quality video and audio
  • To share the joy of “traveling for festivals” through behind-the-scenes stories and travel episodes
  • To serve as a contact point and archive for those who are interested in using my video footage or photos

This site is not an official website of any municipality, tourism association, or organization.
It is an independent media project run by a single creator.
At the same time, I always try to film, edit, and publish content with respect for the traditions and cultures
of each region.

as Omatsuri Otoko / Festival Freak.

5. Vision – Looking Ahead

There are still countless incredible festivals and fireworks displays in Japan that remain largely unknown,
even within the country.
Through the Omatsuri Otoko / Festival Freak channel, I hope to keep traveling across Japan as long as time
and budget allow, documenting those “once-in-a-year nights” and “moments that only happen that year,”
and sharing them with people around the world.
